Yoga has been a constant my whole adult life.
I feel blessed to be in a position to follow my passion for wealth, health and yoga - and for the opportunity to share with you. I love connecting people with resources and learning from one another.
Yoga has meant so much to me over the past three decades.
My yoga journey began in San Diego on a VHS tape at home in a tiny space that barely fit my yoga mat. I muscled up the courage to try my first live yoga class at Yoga One San Diego in 2002 and I instantly fell in love.
Having built my career in the fast-paced, high-stress financial services industry, yoga quickly became the best mental and physical escape...a way to help reduce stress and anxiety, build strength and flexibility, and gain peace and clarity. It also became a place where I could challenge myself, push my boundaries and continuously work on self-development to achieve my personal and professional goals.
As time went on with a consistent practice, I desired a deeper understanding of yoga philosophy and postural alignment. I completed my first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training from Yoga One under Amy and Michael Caldwell in 2008 and again in 2019 under Jen Jones and Jami Marsoun at South River Yoga in St. Louis, MO. In June 2021, I completed Yoga Teacher Training 300-hour program at South River Yoga as well.
I am Yoga Alliance RYT 500 certified.
I love teaching Flow Yoga, Slow Flow, Gentle Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Balancing HIIT w/Yoga, Yoga for Healthy Aging, and Chakra Yoga.
My why for yoga is I feel better 100% of the time after a yoga class. I enjoy feeling grounded, centered & connected.

"I discovered yoga when I was in college. I was a student who, on top of taking more than the average credit hours and working a student job, was over-involved in clubs and extra-curricular activities. I was constantly under a lot of stress and did not handle it well. A friend suggested I try meditating. I blew off the suggestion claiming that meditating was for monks and hippies (boy, would I come to eat those words). I opted to try yoga, instead. I took my very first yoga class in the student rec center and was hooked! I knew yoga was something different; something everyone needed!
After graduating college, I continued taking yoga classes and it didn't take me long to decide I wanted to become a yoga teacher, I started my 200 hour program while interning at a camp and retreat center. I graduating from my program in March 2017 and have been teaching at various facilities (fitness studios, yoga studios, wellness centers, breweries, etc.) ever since!
In the midst of the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic, I chose to take the time to learn more about yoga, and thanks to programs being converted to an online format, I was able to become a certified Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher in May 2020 and complete my RYT500 in October 2020."
